The official record identifies IllFonic as developer and publisher, lists the original version and names Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 as media types. Its rating is RC. The separate public statement explains the reason: the drug use provides an in-game advantage. That is the stated basis for this decision; the statement does not attribute it to Michael’s kills.

The dates describe different events. July 22 is the classification decision, August 14 is the explanatory statement, and the worldwide launch date is a separate release event. A worldwide launch does not overturn a regional classification decision.
