Escape without alerting the Orderlies

Prologue Challenge 5, Undetected, asks you to finish without alerting any Orderlies. Use a separate stealth attempt: let the first patrols pass, walk near the road guard, then move between the fence and rock cover only when the next guard turns away. The route below follows public creator demonstrations; patrol timing matters as much as the path. After escaping, check the challenge entry rather than assuming that reaching the exit awarded it.

Before starting: keep this attempt focused on stealth

Select the Prologue and read Challenge 5 before starting. Do not confuse it with Challenge 6, which concerns killing or driving away the Orderlies. We recommend a separate no-alert attempt so combat, fleeing guards and patrol changes do not complicate the route. That is a practical recommendation, not a claim that every kill automatically invalidates Undetected.

1. Wait for the first guard, then let the pair pass

At the opening patrol, watch the guard before advancing. In JCglitchmaster’s route, the cue is the guard moving forward a second time. Approach the corner, then retreat and wait for the pair of Orderlies to pass through. One moves toward the stairs; remain behind cover until the route ahead clears.

Bryce uses the ambulance as cover while the pair passes and returns toward the building. Both demonstrations depend on waiting for the patrol cycle. Do not leave cover merely because you have reached the same timestamp as the video. If an Orderly is stuck or has been pushed into a different position, the recording’s timing no longer describes your attempt.

2. Follow the rock wall and walk past the close patrol

In JCglitchmaster’s recording, the next movement cue is the guard reaching the bush. Move along the rock wall, then slow to a walk at the rock beside the patrol. His commentary specifically warns against continuing to sprint through this close section. Bryce also walks behind the road guard rather than running past him.

Once clear, continue toward the small fence opening. Pause before entering the next exposed stretch and locate the guard beyond it. Use the guard’s facing and movement as your cue; a flashlight turning toward you is a reason to wait, not to race the rest of the route.

3. Use the metal corner and wait out the next patrol

At the fence opening, JCglitchmaster waits for the guard ahead to appear and move, then runs to the corner of the metal structure and walks around it. He speeds up again only after clearing that corner.

Farther along, stop for the next Orderly to walk past. Advance behind him, pause while he moves away, then continue. The useful pattern is cover, observe, move, and observe again. The linked tutorial shows the landmarks; its pauses are part of the route, not editing gaps to skip.

4. Approach the exit carefully and finish the chapter

Walk on the final approach while checking the last patrol’s direction. In Bryce’s route, he waits for the guard to turn before cutting the power and leaving. JCglitchmaster also slows on the approach before making the last run out. Keep following the exit interactions rather than stopping when the gate area comes into view.

Once the chapter ends, return to the challenge list and inspect Undetected. Bryce’s own recorded stealth attempt ends with missing credit, despite being included in a complete-challenges video. That makes it useful for comparing the route, but it is not proof that every attempt following it will register.

Video checkpoints for the difficult sections

Do Hard difficulty, kills or alerts change the result?

Use the quiet route above to reduce variables. If the escape completes but Challenge 5 remains unchecked, record your difficulty, installed version, any visible alert and the before-and-after challenge screen. The tracking guide covers that fault; if the next chapter is also locked or the Prologue restarts, use the progress-saving checks too. Repeating the same long attempt without recording what changed will not identify the cause.

Frequently asked questions

Is Prologue Challenge 5 the no-kills challenge?

Its displayed condition concerns alerting Orderlies. A separate combat-free attempt is the route recommended here, but we have not established a universal rule that any kill fails it. Creator reports include an alternative route with a kill.

Must I play on Hard to unlock Undetected?

No cited official source states that. Hard is a workaround reported by one creator, not a confirmed difficulty requirement.

Why do I get spotted while following the same path?

Compare the patrol phase and your walking or sprinting state. The demonstrations stop for guards to turn or pass; copying the path without those pauses is a different attempt.

What if I escape but Challenge 5 does not count?

Check the challenge entry and the next chapter separately. Record the build, difficulty and any alerts, then use the challenge-tracking guide. A blank summary alone does not prove that every reward failed.
